  Growing up in the luxury of being a royal, Jade's childhood was naturally special. But there was a catch... Her father, the king didn't let her get everything she wanted-- Like how royal children are normally perceived to get. Anything they're little heart desired. Her father was almost as strict with her, as he was when dealing with such things like the laws of the kingdom, meaning she had her unfair share of rules. A few being downright ridiculous. She grew up without any mother, and the lie was that her biological one had died soon after giving birth to her. But that wasn't the truth. To keep people quiet no-one in all the kingdom, everyone was to even tell their own offspring what truly happened to the queen, if they knew the truth they were to keep quiet, but if they were to blab to someone else. They would be faced with jail-time. Very long jail-time. Ultimately.. She ended up not following most the rules set up for her. That was simply because she found out in her mid teen age that her mother had been exiled out of the kingdom, exactly a week after she was born, and she learned this from the (former) head guard. He didn't-- Couldn't tell her the real reason she was exiled, however. Because of the new info on her mother, she started to disrespect her father by not following some of his rules. And that pissed him off. A lot.
  
  The head of the royal guard was basically young Jade's bestest friend, and still is despite his unfortunate death when she was around over 13 of age. Her father didn't take time in his day to even get to know her much, while head guard, Niall Burns took time in his day(his quite busy day) to get to know, and spend time with her. He taught her things that honestly her father should've been teaching her-- He even taught her some self-defense here and there. The true cause of his death remains to be somewhat of a... Mystery. But Jade suspect's, that it was no other than his younger brother who took him out for the place of being the next head guard.
  
  Now a-day's, she sneaks off into towns and cities in the land. When she first started doing this, she brought a few guards with her and was around 16, 15 years of age. As time wen't on and the guard seemingly changed with the new lead of the new head... They didn't come with her, and instead either took her to her father or straight into her room for even thinking of leaving the castle without her fathers consent. But she would always find way's to sneak off no matter if she was locked up inside her room. And that was because her natural gift of good luck.
  
  No-one in the land know's if her luck is a magical ability, or even counts as one. Jade herself tends to joke around, saying things like, "It's just the Irish luck in my bones." or something like on the lines of that. But her luck is no joke. It absolutely cannot be stopped-- It's just that powerful. And she can be responsible to some degree despite not having a lot of authority. So she can be responsible with her ability, right? Well, she doesn't have a whole lot of control over it.
  
  In general, shes pretty friendly with any ranking citizen. Rich, poor or middle-class, it doesn't really matter to her. Her luck, her mother and father, and of course, her friendly outgoing personality those things are what shes really known for. She also likes to drink, so she often sneaks out to go to pubs and have a good pitcher of beer. Much to her fathers "secret" dismay. Though he just comes off absolutely furious when he finds out shes been drinking anything with alcohol in it, and all together he calls drinking extremely un-lady like. Which to some it is. But some others they just don't care... Hell, there have been more than a few people who have encouraged it.
  
  Jade is determined to find her mother. So much, shes been planning the day she escapes the castle and goes off land to find her mother, wherever she may be. And one day shes gonna actually find the queen, and finally learn the real reason she was exiled.
